Battleground Baseball ROCKS!

This last Saturday may have seemed well . . . not so great given the on and off again rain, but Battleground Baseball still played all three games! And we were there to witness the action! Check it out:

Intense Pitching

Hard Hitting

Hot Action

Soon these and other action packed images will be available in an online gallery at www.tinazak.net. Check them out by clicking on the 'View Proofs' at the top of the home page.

To learn how you can get in on the action, check out the league's website at www.battlegroundministries.org

Special thanks to the league's commissioner, Doug Moore, for booking TZP for the league's photography needs!

The Beginning

. . . is a very good place to start, and this is my beginning - well, at the least the beginning of my "blogging"! Who would have thought????

I guess starting with this simple hello will do for now, and please know - exciting info will be here in the near future!

One EXCITING piece of news: I have officially begun the quest to be the ONLY Certified Professional Photographer in the Richmond/Rosenberg/Sugar Land/Needville/East Bernard/Stafford/Beasley/Damon/Guy/Fairchilds area! Which is nearly the whole county!

Why is this so exciting? Well, this certification comes from the oldest professional photographer's association in the world - PPA (aka - Professional Photographer's of America), and not just anyone can get it! You have to earn it. The requirements are strict: first, you submit your 20 image portfolio (which must met or exceed print competition standards), and you must pass a written exam. Once these are completed, you must not only maintain this level, but you must continue to grow professionally, artistically, and personally through periodic portfolio reviews and continuing education.

So, as soon as I receive the news that I have obtained certification, I will let you know!
